When you're functionally depressed and have to be strong and tell your mother that everything is going to be ok and that you're there for her. Not much makes you feel both like an adult and a small child at the same time.

Time for your annual reminder that you are not alone. Whatever you're fighting, whatever the demon, you're not alone. There is always another option. Don't give up. Ask for help. Doing so is not a sign of weakness nor admitting you're "broken". You are worth people's time and care.

Hi all. Nothing exciting to share. I don't get to play boardgames much anymore, but I'm still acquiring them like crazy. Been caring for my mom who had a compression fracture in her L5 vert. and needed surgery. She's getting around very well now, but that's been my life focus since July (excl. work)
