I know. I have family that lives in Bavaria, not two hours from Munich. I don't blame ordinary Germans any more than I blame non GOP Americans. The screaming is at the rich and powerful who thought this was a good idea.

There's this scene in the last episode of "Band of Brothers" that keeps coming back to me. When the US Paratrooper starts screaming at the defeated Germans. "WHAT DID YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN?!?!?!? WASTING OUR BEST YEARS ON THIS BULLSHIT!"
