Okay! I know books have already arrived in other US states, both directly from the publisher and via independent bookstores.... Over here in Europe it's apparently not available until Christmas. :-/ 🚬

Thanks so much, John! I'm honored you'll have a copy. It's a lightning compact book—but hopefully bigger on the inside. And I'll have to get ahold of a copy of Ominous Whoosh over here. Cheers! ^o^

I'm grateful to Timecodes Series editor Nick Rombes for this opportunity: the great privilege of sitting with the masterpiece that is Part 8 "Gotta Light?". A being-with—at the core of the Lynchian fugue state at the core of the culture. A watching.

Please order from your local indie bookshop!

There’s an essentialism there. A materialism. That is too cozy with German Romanticism / Blood and Soil.

Bitter and dangerous rather than containing the possibility for the geography of a human ambiguity in good faith.

Ohhhhh…. I hold you responsible for the taste in my mouth now. But thanks for sharing the ‘old thoughts.’

It really does have such rich relevancy EVERYWHERE now, that I don’t find it objectionable that he explores it, but it’s so freighted, as you say, that he always seems to land on bitter ground.

It’s a particular and convenient feature of the US rapture to get chose your rapture theme song.
