Mutual cooperation is the optimal game theory strategy for most complicated games. It is smart to be kind. But the cooperation cannot be naive. Part of intelligent cooperation is working together to shut down bad faith actors.
It's also really important to note that Mamdani split the straight vote with Cuomo and almost his entire margin of victory can be counted for by *crushing it* with queer voters.

Defending queer voters wins elections.

Yes. But also.

Here's him doing a full two minute pro-trans ad which goes deep on trans history and dignity.

And look at the exit polling data between him and Cuomo on queerness.

This is also really important to note about Mamdani's election.

Mamdani split the straight vote with Cuomo, and crushed it with queer people by 5:1. The entirety of Mamdani's 8.8% margin can be accounted for by that alone.

Queer support wins elections.

He did do that.

But also.

Mamdani split the straight vote with Cuomo and his entire margin of victory can be accounted for by his landslide win among queer people.

You know there was an entire armed protest wing of the Civil Rights era and the Selma to Montgomery marches were not the entirety of the Civil Rights movement, right?

Let's use constant dollars and a linear x axis instead of a misleading logarithmic one, shall we?

A full 1% of the US economy right now is new capital expenditure for LLM datacenters, for which no one has ever demonstrated a single profitable sales model (even neglecting research, marketing, free samples, etc).

We are so fucked.

Yes. The extremely advanced average age of congress is indicative of a gerontocracy - a system in which elected officials cannot be dislodged, causing a serious lag in ideological connection between voters and officials, especially considering the demographic disconnect in the Democratic party.

Maybe you could have gone way layer deeper than the Google summary to the Wikipedia page it was referencing, and found that not only is it *much more general* than that, it also applies to things like the **Warsaw Ghetto Uprising**.

You uhhh, didn't read the judgement did you? At all.
June 24, 2025 at 3:47 PM
... you literally did exactly the same thing.

Also I don't think you're reading this judgement in good faith, given that you skipped over this.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong about this.

The summary judgment says that scraping the books was absolutely not fair use, and that it the LLMs produced any copyrighted content for profit that would not be fair use, and that Anthropic storing those books beyond the training was not fair use.

For reference this "eye-safe" laser pointer would actually:

-Ignite flammables meters away
-Permanently damage your eyes at over a 100 meters faster than you can blink
-Flash blind drivers at half a kilometer

NEVER buy laser pointers on Amazon.
