Monster Grid is almost finished and it's big thanks to #GodotEngine for building such an amazing tool and making completely free!

for tonight's #godot #gamedev update i've implemented a pause and options screen for a jam game I made earlier this year, Harold Voidskipper.
It's the same pause and options system I've made in the Movement FPS project. I still have to figure out how to style all the UI elements.

Dramatic death animation, I loved it
This is a respawn animation I made for SUPER ADVENTURE.
Depending on where on the screen the player dies he will be moved smoothly to the respawn position. Programming this was actually really fun! (and more difficult than I first thought it would be lol)

I should probably align them with the floor normals on death and tweak things a bit more. Also shown in the video an early adaptive music system
