Still a human
Because (1) he only thinks of the Dow Jones as "the stock market" and (2) only thinks in terms of any short term indicator that he can project as his personal win.

A wise man once said "yeah, well..."

I believe it's "both sides are just as bad" - I wasn't specifically aware of that exact sentiment from Sarandon, but I never saw her specifically support Biden or Harris in the last election (and, IMO, despite whatever misgivings - many wholly defensible - the risk was too great to lose focus)

Lol, this post touched a nerve.

I remember one bit, long ago in John Stewart's original Daily Show run, when he received a lukewarm crowd response to a joke at the expense of the left. He said "ok, you don't like it so much when it's against the home team." 😂

@jcsalterego.bsky.social I didn't know you were friends with billionaires who are friends with the Gateses, Nordstromses, and Bezoses.

Anything by Kate DiCamillo, but Despereaux or, if you can handle it, Edward Tulane. God, I wish I could have the experience of reading Edward Tulane to my kid again...

Absolute banger.

Thank you, President Trump, for having the courage to call attention to this. The mainstream media's refusal to cover the genocide of white farmers in South Africa is probably the biggest scandal since their refusal to cover the Bowling Green Massacre.

These guys were unreasonably good in Seattle. If anybody's on the fence in MA, you should absolutely go.

Idk, man. I saw Mogwai last week and they were rad.

I love pavement to death, but if I honestly reflecting on Pavement shows over the past 30 years, they are pedestrian at best.

I'm finally finishing Trouble Boys, though, and the Replacements are gods.

He should get Tim Robinson to help him get to the bottom of this mystery, too.

My deep cuts knowledge is shallower than I thought. But anyway I love pavement a lot and thank you for this post!

I swear they originally had a different arrangement of AT&T. I saw them play this ~1994 before Wowee Zowee was released, but I've never heard it again in that way. I could be wrong (now is when I should love the internet because maybe I can easily find a contemporary bootleg and fix my memory)
