6) Many universities are backstopping these programs. Donate to your alma mater. If the top leadership is questionable, don't donate to the university-wide slush funds, donate to specific programs with control closer to the students. For example: buckeyefunder.osu.edu/project/46587
60 Years of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies
Help The Ohio State University reach 60 Donors for the project: 60 Years of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies. A donation of any amount can make a difference!

7) Advocate with Congress, OMB, the Department of Education and the President over the importance of these programs in national security, diplomacy, business and education

8) Talk to people OUTSIDE the field about these programs: neighbors, cousins, etc. There are a lot of misconceptions

4) Do you know of any fellowships/scholarships that are still funded that don't get enough applications? Please share.

5) Donate to your professional organization (ASEEES, in my case).

1) A lot of my mutuals on here are experts in the field: mentor a student or give a public lecture pro bono.

2) Send a student a check, take them out to dinner, offer to buy their books or laptop...

3) Does your place of employment have a vacancy that might suit these students? Please share
