I research my family history and watch pro wrestling. DC resident who can't avoid politics. Loving the vibes here.
The best part of the thread was when he’s all ‘Newsom was right there!’

If you think folks stayed home because they thought Harris was too liberal, buddy I got news for ya.

She stinks. Can’t just take a W, oh no, too in her head to avoid centrisming.

Agree with all this. I still want to see TayJay in the mix and elevated eventually, whether as a team or in singles. It’s just not their time right now.

Gluesenkamp is low-key brutal. She was also one of the Al Green censure votes. Sorry that you’re stuck with her.

Alabama elected a Democratic senator as recently as 2017.

And they’ll certainly never elect one again if they’re constantly characterized as ”awful” and “evil.” How does that help anything???

No. Reconstruction - which Sherman tried to get President Grant to back off of - should have finished the job.

Also, Dems don’t take the Senate in ‘06 without George Allen’s “macaca” gaffe.

Repubs were on a heater of stupidity that year.

I’d forgotten about the details behind this. No Tim Scott fan, but feels like Senate Dems overplayed their hand here (b/c election year, maybe?) and as a result we got nothing: www.cnn.com/2020/06/24/p...
