All it takes is one bad faith border security staff calling into question why I am travelling to the US from Canada and back on a UK passport, and I could be in a cold cell for a few weeks waiting for a chance to explain myself.

Like just really. If it were already the case science agreed with the transphobes then the transphobes would not need to fundamentally change the way science is funded in the US and use monetary threats to force the (published) science to start agreeing with them. This is all very unsubtle.

I actually shipped weird neural network based texture compression on Midnight Suns for gen 8 consoles; it's used on the sarcophagus textures. What Nvidia has published is different, it feels to me like palletized textures with parametrized palettes. I think it should work. 🤷🏻♂️
