My neighbor's garden is carpeted with the white (and blue) flowers at the moment. Been difficult to keep my eyes off of them (not exactly polite looking into other people's property but ... 💁🏼♀️). Absolutely beautiful! Enjoy them!

Absolutely agree with you. Reality is already a terror tale without us making things up. Would be good to have a verification function (like a browser extension) that works from this app. I end up ignoring most posts from 'Truth' and X because I can't verify them, so who knows where truth is?

The US is now fully on-side with Russia, and Trump clearly has authoritiarian desires. We need to stop thinking of the US as an ally. We are on our own and Europe best come together quickly.

Ah, no sweat. Just don't go back afterwards? If Russia wants to rejoin the world economically, I suspect they will find this punitive approach a rather large disincentive to international companies. And that works both ways.

Let's hope he's got the chops for this. The Divided States of America is not exactly a reliable ally at this point, but it's certainly worth a try now than letting it go fully pro-Russia. Good luck Starmer. Stay firm.

Time the world realises the US is no longer the reliable old partner it was. Time to make new plans without them, and that needs a strong, unified EU.

Of course it will 🙄. The US has joined the dictatorships of the world. Once the rest of the world realises the US is NOT allied with it and abandons relations, the bedfellows of North Korea and Russia will prove a small (financially unsustainable) world of trade for the US. Dead trade = zero power.

Completely agree. It's short-termist zero-sum game idiocy. They will line their billionaire pockets for a quick buck, and that will be the end of their global power. They've been sneaky about their conquests until now - and used plenty of soft power to build allies. No more. That empire is dead.

I saw the footage of goons manhandling a woman. If US citizens are not yet sufficiently alarmed and sure that America is headed for full-on dictatorship, I fear it is lost. The time to fight this en-masse is now, before they have ALL the levers in place.

It's horrifying. Another Gestapo in the making. I grew up in SA and was a kid during that disgusting dark time. What they uncovered at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission about BOSS was terrifying. And I don't think the 'SS' part of the name was any accident.

The US appears to be going back to the old Colonial drawing board to enrich itself and avoid having to do pesky things like looking after citizens and taxing their oligarchs. Ukraine's minerals look like they are next up for grabs - the US is dead as an ally. It cannot be trusted under Frump.
