And I'm saying that I'm not convinced she would have won with that year of campaigning as an incumbent. Better odds, sure, but nothing about how the short campaign ran suggested to me that she would have meaningfully addressed positions that cost her the race.

So did I. I don't think she was an especially compelling candidate for the moment. A primary process would have tested her on that.

While I mostly agree (she did squander a lot of momentum), I also think that it's possible she wouldn't have been the nominee if Biden had stepped aside and allowed a proper primary. Unlikely, as leadership and the DNC are what they are, but that chance was there.

I feel you're getting a bit defensive. I never said there was anything wrong with being white, but your bringing it up suggests that perhaps you do. I would interrogate those feelings, really reflect on them.
