At least 140 police officers were injured as a result of the January 6th riot, from concussions, broken bones, & chemical burns. At least five officers died following the riot, two by suicide, three others by related causes. Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences for all of them! Disgraceful!

The US is one of the richest countries in the world and too many people are living paycheck to paycheck. And, 40 million need SNAP benefits to feed their families. Again, I say, people do not want handouts, they simply want to make living wage. Things have got to change!

The federal minimum wage is $7.25/hr, about $15,000 per year, forcing many of those individuals to seek SNAP benefits. I repeat, income disparity is a HUGE problem in this country. People don’t want government hand outs, they simply want to make a living wage to take care of their families.
