Aspiring low-information voter.
Well, the new EPSB Board of Trustees has the "women are underrepresented" problem cornered at least. 🥴

Do you have a humidifier in your house? The kind that blows cool mist?

It is probably making your air dirty. Like, forest fire dirty!

We have an air pollution monitor and we recently bought one of these "ultrasonic" humidifiers. Immediately, our monitor started showing dirty air! 🤔

Canada Post is not a business, it is a government service that is essential in this massive country of ours.

One thing I always pay attention to regarding any campaign is, how many young people is it attracting?

I want to support people who open up opportunities for the next generation.

I’m grateful that the city is providing an alternate route to 102 ave #yegbike route (I’m also grateful for the lane itself)

However, I can’t help but remember that admin’s plan back in 2015 was to not build 102 at all because of this construction delay that is now happening in 2025. 😂

I love how I know so much about New York politics and how a few New Yorkers know a teensy bit about Edmonton politics ever since The War On Cars visited a while back!

Performance art on the way to Sherwood Park from Edmonton.

I call this “the zero stops stop sign.”

Remember when Edmonton city council enabled the installation of treed boulevards where there were none before?

The current council did a lot of things right.

And most Paris bike lanes are not close to All Ages and Abilities. There is still so much potential.

this is unpossible because Jason Kenney and Danielle Smith have told me 1,000 times that our natural gas will displace China's coal to save the world

Brand new $300k unit in the middle of the city? But local NIMBYs insist infills are always more expensive than whatever they replace!

Weird.

What innovation! Fellow long timers may be reminded of Robert Noce’s equally brilliant mayoral campaign plan to have Gateway Boulevard rip Old Strathcona in two and exit onto a new car bridge into downtown.

I know that many on the left have justifiable grievances with Chretien, but I will never forget that he did this.

And that Stephen Harper was banging on the war drum during that time too!

Hi @etriders.bsky.social. Question for you? I thought the Capital Line was already at capacity during rush hour. Won't this make the problem quit a bit worse?

(I'm probs just wrong about the above, but would still like clarification!)

Thanks to @taprootedmonton.ca for the write up!

In which Edify interviews three wealthy homeowners to find out how to slow down the buildout of homes for young people and immigrants. Edgy stuff!

Looks like the Liberals are trying pretty hard to take Edmonton Strathcona this time around. 🥴
