Looking for some guidance on what constitutes YA vs Adult. I have always written things that in my mind would be R-rated films, some of which have teen characters. Yet a recent horror novella has gotten two different rejections claiming it seems YA, despite me submitting it as adult horror. 1/3

Currently doing research for a horror western novel and I swear there’s nothing sweeter than stumbling across a major historical event that provides the perfect motivation for your protagonist. 🤔
