Went through the loss of my grandmother this week. After 86 years, it’s easy to celebrate such a long life. Our family has always been a bit more understanding of death but it was still a rough week.

I lost my old girl of 12 years back in AUG. I am a former combat medic. Nothing hit me harder than losing her. It was like someone twisted my guts. You’re not alone in this. It does get better but it takes a lot of time. It fucking sucks but that looks like a happy kitty that had a wonderful life

Since I plan on making Bluesky my new home, guess I should introduce myself. I’m a VMWare based Engineer, specializing in Automation. I’m a dad, nerd, gymrat and really really into MtG Commander. I really enjoy discussing tech, including infrastructure and virtualization. My favorite book is Dune.
