Since I plan on making Bluesky my new home, guess I should introduce myself. I’m a VMWare based Engineer, specializing in Automation. I’m a dad, nerd, gymrat and really really into MtG Commander. I really enjoy discussing tech, including infrastructure and virtualization. My favorite book is Dune.

Finished some modules today. Wrote some automation for my Citrix team. Main reason was to enable Virtualization based security and nesting on new Citrix boxes. Really head scratching due to the older modules being 5 years old. #powershell #vmware

Went through the loss of my grandmother this week. After 86 years, it’s easy to celebrate such a long life. Our family has always been a bit more understanding of death but it was still a rough week.

I’ve been on a massive reading kick, so I bought a kindle to attempt to cut down on my paper use. I despise Amazon but going back to its book roots feels somewhat of a lesser evil.

Holidays have been busy. Not so much at work due to downtime and PTO but we get to see our family in Tennessee as well. Not looking forward to a 6 hour drive but I got myself a new kindle to help ><
