In 2022, the EU banned content from Russian state broadcasters and affiliated actors.

New: YouGov polling shows Europeans want home-grown alternatives to US social media giants.
Over 50% of social media users in France, Germany and Spain would prefer using European-based SM platforms. Only 4-5% would prefer using US platforms.
