seeing how Konate has played in some games, and how unreliable Gomez is, it feels, in hindsight, a terrible decision to sell Quansah. if Konate gets an injury, or especially Virgil, there could be matches where we get beat by several goals.

want him to get his goal so badly, and then be sold. outside of 15 minute cameos, he tends to be a liability now.

gutted that his level is so low now. should have been starting most games for us and an england regular. loved him between 2018 and 2020 but he's way too hit and miss to rely on.

i expected a weird and difficult season just purely because of the amount of squad turnover. but a lot of our performances have been amateur.
