Today’s news in the UK about the Supreme Court ruling just further proves that legality does NOT equal morality, intelligence, or fact. It simply reinforces the beliefs of a backwards system intent on upholding the patriarchy and capitalism. Trans people are the sex they identify as. End of debate

underscores - fishmonger (2021)

Each track on this album has something a little different to offer. There is some great experimentation here too which isn’t harsh and unlistenable, but fun and somewhat melodic. This is my kind of weirdness and it’s crammed nicely in 10 tracks.

Nobody heard of me, I’m a new man (to quote Roots Manuva).
Connor with a full bushy beard. He is content in his look, but it’s a tricky thing to keep and honestly, he dislikes hair getting in his mouth and nose. He looks straight at the camera with a slight smile and wears a grey top whilst leaning on a grey patterned cushion. Connor with a short trimmed beard after using a new shaver. He is feeling better about not having rogue hairs everywhere, but doesn’t recognise himself in the mirror. He still wears grey and leans on the same cushion with a slight smile.

Connie Constance - Miss Power (2022)

Connie brings the power to the forefront here on a victory lap of different styles through each track. There are R&B/Poppy anthems and Rock belters, soaring vocals and spoken word tracks. What next?

A stunning debut to ring in a new year, Jasmine expresses the turmoils and indeed the thrills that she has endured during her transition in an uplifting and beautifully sorrowful album produced by the talents of supergroup, boygenius.

Gaffa Tape Sandy - Hold My Hand, God Damn It (2024)

Last year saw the eventual arrival of GTS’ debut album after their seminal EP in 2019! They delivered a barnstorming rip roar of tracks with their signature charm and dual vocal dynamics.

audiobooks - Astro Tough (2021)

Wonderfully weird and eccentric songs pervade this neatly packaged collection of synthy indie bop bops. Evangeline flies here with her signature strange observations. It is a show of the talent of the Lings.

Indigo De Souza - Any Shape You Take (2021)

Take a plunge into Indigo’s dark and twisted depths. She plays a scratching and scraping guitar amongst swell landscapes of production to enhance the blossoming of her burgeoning lyrics.

Alunageorge - Body Music (2013)

Each track here has something to it that reminds me how good the short-lived Alunageorge were. Can we be nostalgic for 12 years ago now? We can be! This is an underrated and unique plethora of delights.

Sky Ferreira - Night Time, My Time (2013)

This may well be the best mainstream pop album of all time. It is dark, gritty, and mysterious. It has catchy moments, but it is a true artistic tour de force. It pulls no punches and knows no boundary.
