I feel this. I use an absurd number of em dashes in my writing, which is something that AI models are notorious for. I've been consciously re-reading my messages to delete some of them lately (sigh).

Aww thank you! And yeah, people are going to people. Before Wyrmspan came out, Elizabeth told me it would be a good opportunity for growth for me, and she was right. It definitely gets easier over time. And it's an important lesson in not internalizing others' reactions

Yes this exactly! Because so much of what's happening is literally killing people - on the near term & in the years/decades to follow. I think it's the symbolism here that's getting to me

Oh that's a good idea! I have some of that thinking putty stuff that I use to try to keep myself focused when listening. Never thought to extend it to speaking, but it makes sense that it would help in that context too

Yeah. One of the common discussion points in my design group is the (growing?) gap between commercial success and BGG acclaim. Unfortunately if there's much by way of data on the first point, we can't find it.

There are several programs that import excel data into card templates! I like Nandeck, as David mentioned - it's free & works well. Ludolodge on YouTube has some great tutorials. A lot of folks use Component Studio too, which is put out by gamecrafter and has a scription model (maybe $10/month?).
