I don't want platitudes. I don't want comfort. I want a cause, direct action, the ability to make an impact. But when the problem is so big you can't see the trees for the forest, despair is an easy answer. Anger is a natural consequence of living in a world we were always told would get better

I am the grandchild of neglect and abuse. I am the progeny of privilege with a bleeding heart for the oppressed. Can there be any other reaction to the world as it is? I used to think anger poisoned the soul. I think that's a capitalist lie meant to keep us complacent.
