I think they should owe us at least one for every goal they’ve stolen from us! Rules be damned, this is the Lawless Trump Era.

He stepped up, big time.

Great night for Slaf. Maybe he’s now ready to drive a line. Much more mature. Perhaps his role on the top line shackled him in some ways. Too bad he can’t be a centre but he’s playing like one.

Did I mention the goaltending? Geezus. It’s horrendous.
November 18, 2025 at 3:24 AM
And he’s electrifying. Just starting, too. Good years ahead for this team.
November 18, 2025 at 3:19 AM
He’s in the Epstein files.

Say it ain’t so, Brian.

Funny that Habs haven’t drawn a single penalty tonight. Hmmmm
November 18, 2025 at 2:56 AM
Dobes should have had two of them. I’ll give him one freebie. Weak.
November 18, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Habs have a goaltender problem. A serious problem. It just need to be said. I can’t stand watching is being undone by goaltending …. Although a few goals (and more shots) by the team would certainly help.
November 18, 2025 at 2:34 AM
OK …. It’s time for a Jack Todd takedown of Gretzky. Most disingenuous rebuttal attempt I’ve seen ….. “when I’m not at Mar-a-Lago or, you know California or in Fox studios, I’m mostly a Canadian …..”. Not even the hint of an attempt to defend Walter’s Canada. Let’s go. It’s not gonna write itself.
November 16, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Thanks, Brian. One of your best pieces of the season …. You had me nodding in agreement for most of it and thinking twice when I wasn’t.
November 16, 2025 at 9:17 PM
I was wondering, too. What’s up with this?
November 15, 2025 at 4:01 AM
I’m not over-reacting or overly worried. Just an observation that everything seemed to stop at the same time — if your car’s transmission, brakes and tires go at the same time, it leaves you a’wondering.
November 14, 2025 at 6:13 PM
But it’s a bit disconcerting. No offence, no defence, no goaltending…..what to make of that?
November 14, 2025 at 2:00 AM
Because there’s action for a full 60 minutes? Guess NFL, with commercial breaks every 3 minutes and baseball, with 90 minutes of nothingness, are your go-to escapes from boring?
November 13, 2025 at 8:53 AM
That’s a little over the top. But it is an opinion.
November 13, 2025 at 8:45 AM
Took me a minute. Sneaky.
November 9, 2025 at 9:00 PM
Off topic, but is it just me or is Chris Cuthbert over the top with his Leafs goal exuberance — as in, every Leafs goal sounds like it’s a Cup-winning goal??
November 6, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Sorry. I know it’s annoying. As a former editor told me: correct a mistake before you publish; after that, shut up. Forgive me.
November 5, 2025 at 9:55 PM
You meant “faze” him, right?
November 5, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Bolduc hit was absolutely not interference. It’s called a well-timed collision.

Matheson has to get some couples therapy for his broken relationship with his stick.
