I picked up a late '90s Bose Wave Radio/CD at the Goodwill the other day for $11. The CD player didn't work, but with help from YouTube University it only took about five minutes to fix it, and it sounds great! I thought these were the height of fancy back in the day, lol.

When I did a drop bar swap on my Cannondale, I used a cheap quill stem adapter, but it wound up being a lot taller than I expected and looked kinda silly, plus it was a bit loose. So I just got one that fits, looks, and feels a lot better. I also flipped the stem to +7⁰. Very pleased!

So I blew out the side of one of the ancient Kenda tires that came on my Cannondale, but I had just seen a marketplace listing for a set of new Panaracer Gravelking SK tires for about $30 off of the cheapest new price I could find. Pretty happy with these after a first ride today!

I picked up a cheap '94 Cannondale H300 recently, and did a quick drop bar, downtube shifter, all-road conversion to it, and I'm really liking it so far.

One of my cyanotypes, "Untitled, Ditch," 2017, will be in an analog photography and alternative process exhibition at the Riney Gallery through Mar. 29, 2025. An opening reception will be held Feb. 7 from 5-7pm.
