Started reading thru Bookshops and Bonedust today again. Definitely one of those books that feel straight up good for you. I feel lighter and relaxed after listening to the audiobook. Media can definitely tip the scales for me in terms of whether I feel frazzled end of the day.

Started reading thru Bookshops and Bonedust today again. Definitely one of those books that feel straight up good for you. I feel lighter and relaxed after listening to the audiobook. Media can definitely tip the scales for me in terms of whether I feel frazzled end of the day.

These books look fascinating 🤩. I also picked them up can't wait to start to read them. I've been thinking a lot about video games as a source of refuge, regulation, and rebellion for people, and curious what these books might have to say about that. Curious what a video game zine is too.

I'm working on a gameboy styled game! It's called Twinkle Wink Quest, and made a rough mockup of a scene. I'd like to make it centered on themes of empathy and whimsy.
