File this under ... "DUH!". Of course everyone prefers it, the only reason they try to destroy socialism and not feudalism is because it's actually popular. Poll after poll, policy after policy, socialism always wins. We just have to actually fight for it.
A new poll from Data for Progress found that “voters of all parties” are open to leftist policies, and that a majority of Democratic voters polled preferred democratic socialism to capitalism “when written definitions of each are read aloud to them.”

File this under ... "DUH!". Of course everyone prefers it, the only reason they try to destroy socialism and not feudalism is because it's actually popular. Poll after poll, policy after policy, socialism always wins. We just have to actually fight for it.
Of course we prefer socialism. Centrists and Right wingers have spent so much energy destroying socialism because of fear. They don't spend time and energy warning people against anarchy, or feudalism. It's this one thing they hate, because they know that if people we're educated it'd be popular.
WHEN DEFINITIONS ARE READ. For years, I have worked on messaging and communication with organizers, activists, and electeds, and especially with young organizers. We have to say what we mean and mean what we say. It should be clear, relatable, and connected to people's lives.
