"soon"?????? You mean now? These things already exist and some people use them...and I've met plenty who intentionally keep HUGE hitches sticking way out "to punish anyone who tailgates and save their bumper"

@deviantollam.bsky.social If the little push lever thing is broken off does that mean it's probably impossible to exit this door when the electronic striker locks after hours? Like it might be possible to be locked in after going downstairs to evacuate?

@techconnectify.bsky.social As for prices, they were about double what you were talking about...and the BestBuy orders had some delays in shipping.

Some rough prices for your comparison of the ones I could find the order info about:

Your video on DVDs - my Star Trek DS9 "all in one" seems to be double-layer discs. Purchased online BestBuy in 2021. Others Star Trek (even from Amazon) also run ~2GB per 40 min episode/1GB per 30 min episode.

I did have some faulty scratched Amazon discs exchanged.

That sounds like a lot of potential fun!

Reminds me of the old HP custom Ready messages...I liked to change it to "Raedy" which had people scratching their head but unable to quite place what was wrong...

Good news, some of the other fire safety related devices are not painted over!
September 19, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Uh, @deviantollam.bsky.social when did it become okay to paint over fire alarm annunciators?

I swear my friends end up with the sketchiest landlords...

I guess at least he died for something he believed in?

Like wtf I can't see how that's reasonable to be like "well some people should die", but if its gonna happen...may as well be to someone who feels that's acceptable?

Seems kinda like Lord Farquad...

I have my more fire and less fire prepared. Except the more fire is struggling. That wasn't a request, it was a command. Time to bring out the "there will be fire"

Or not, and I just won't look at it right now. Because it had a chance to download stuff last night automatically and did, why on earth does everything have to be mandatory updated literally every time an update comes out at every hour of the day.

I mounted ours under the island...white "kitchen" one nearer the stove, red "general purpose" one on the end facing the living-room. And yes, I know, need to take out the cardboard recycling.

But yeah that keeps them both readily-accessible/visible and also recessed from being bumped/spilled on.

Giant 20+ft water slide, lots of fun but apparently 10/10 faster and more fun wearing much less. No pictures of that portion because nighttime and reasons. Would do again.

This is such a useless error.... @deviantollam.bsky.social you seen this before? Seems to last way more than the 30 sec it says when these systems choke

But I thought Trump said the states should be handling their own disasters not the feds???

Elevators are so bad that they won't even let you attempt to request to go anywhere anymore...

From Play Store get the official Pebble bee app that you can open and click the button then hit update and there's an (i) hint to put the tracker in discover mode and update.

Sorry for silly pic, it disallowed screenshot

Maybe time to upgrade your driveway entrance with some ornamental brick posts with a mailbox in one? Reenforced concrete field and set say 6-8ft deep footings for stability of course.
