I love the pacific coast. Beaches are cool, but what I really actually enjoy is climbing around on the rocks and finding neat things. Every pool is its own separate little environment with parameters that change with the tides.

Okay here's the idea, I hope it makes sense. If your landlord straight-up won't allow a window unit... well that sucks... but I've made this exact thing in the past and it's rock solid if you get the measurements right. Wood, screws, and two cheap drawer handles should be less than $20.
