In the long-term, with all the cutbacks in the safety aviation groups and inspectors, we will see a greater impact to commercial aviation safety.

Other pilots regardless of their political affiliation have privately told me that they know more accidents are going to be coming due to all of these cutbacks. In a short term with reductions in the understaffed traffic control facilities, we will see an increase in incident.

With the help of my mechanic, we've determined that the alternator has failed and needs to be replaced. Hopefully just 1 AMU. (Aviation Monetary Unit = $1,000)
