Nine (9!) little puppies made their freedom flight from UT to the intaking rescue group in Phoenix. Unfortunately, not everything goes smoothly but thanks to the airport emergency response and a great mechanical shop, N758XB will fly another day.

8/3/25 Transport - Aria & her three surviving puppies were rescued out of Window Rock after the Oak Ridge fire when her owner passed and Operation Kind Heart stepped in to help.

Today I helped transporting this sweet Husky back to his rescue group in CA when the family who adopted him moved to NO but for some reason, couldn't keep him. It took 8 ground legs, 3 flights with different pilots to get him safely back home. Hopefully, his next home is a good one!

This morning's transport was from Chinle, AZ to Phoenix to meet a CA based pilot to take these 6 puppies and one adult to their intaking group in the Bay Area. Hopefully, they will all get adopted soon!

Yesterday's rescue flight brought two dogs from the Humane Society of Central Arizona who were surrendered due to their owner's medical incapacitation to a family member in Wilcox, AZ.

5 little puppies, just 10 days old flew to their intaking rescue group in Las Vegas. Sadly, their mother was found deceased on the Navajo Nation land. :(

I was able to get back into the air today flying OB1, a very happy Rhodesian Ridgeback dog to his rescue group in Oroville, CA from Show Low, AZ. I flew the first leg from Show Low to Las Vegas. If you can help support these groups, please do.

Not all transports go as planned and then the rescuer needs rescuing. I cannot thank well enough the friends (and strangers) who came out to help me today and allowed me to get my crippled airplane back home safely. Back to the shop!😒

With 8XB back in service, it was time for our first rescue transport. Tucker got a flight from Kanab, UT to Phoenix, AZ as part of his journey from Jordan, UT to Tucson. Great passenger!

FINALLY! After almost 2 months, N758XB is back! 8XB went in for a major upgrade to failing, 44 year old vacuum driven, mechanical and electrical instruments.

Included in this upgrade is a new ELT which allows S&R to locate me in the event of a crash in hours vs days or weeks.
