It's been a hot summer and even though we hate baths and can't swim we will nibble on the slip n slide sprinkles.

My son had to take a make up benchmark math test today. Told him to do his best and after school we can go for a treat. I was in a meeting when he got off the bus and couldn't remind him before he caught an ice cream truck. He remembered I promised a treat after I got off work. Ended up with a fish.

When you are from Spring TX and are prepared for hurricanes not snow you must improvise.

Paco loves National Geographic shows. Especially when the coyotes and wolves are doing exciting things. Then he has to patrol the backyard for possums and squirrels. Have a great week!

Good morning! We are ready for our walk.

It's been about a month since I was bitten by a possum. I learned several things. Possums don't carry rabies (98% of the time). Possums are stubborn and have very short memories. My E.R. doesn't offer rabies shots. I rescued him 3 nights in a row from the dog before he got me. Didn't have a towel.

Is it time for bed yet?

Good Morning Monday! This week is always the craziest of the year. School parties, gifts for all the grown ups who care for my kids, and stupid dress up days. Plus the bus is late and we want to go for our walk.

Happy Sunday! My cat Tux does not wish anyone good morning ever. I still love my cranky old murder floof.

Paco has 3 dog beds he never uses. He stole our comfy spot and has claimed it forever.

If you are in the Klein area of Texas pick up the phone and ask them to support and fund our public schools. There is absolutely no reason for unfunded mandates and while the state holds $33 billion in a rainy day fund. All public schools deserve better.
