#TheUltimates #19 by Deniz Camp & Juan Frigeri. A continuation of #UltimateEndgame, the Ultimates start their insurrection in the world. It was hinted that Janet Van Dyne was working with another group but I wasn’t expecting the reveal. I am bummed this book is ending soon.

These unusual events lead Wonder Woman to team-up with Batman to investigate. Great setup with tension, humor and fantastic art.

These unusual events lead Wonder Woman to team-up with Batman to investigate. Great setup with tension, humor and fantastic art.
#Skinbreaker #4 by Robert Kirkman & David Finch. Anok has been challenged as Chieftain and must duel to the death. The more I read Skinbreaker, the more it’s a metaphor of how any 2 party political system works: one side is education and hope and the other is ignorance and fear.

#MovieWatch 2026 - #SoundOfMetal Drummer Ruben (Riz Ahmed) and his girlfriend Singer/guitarist Lou (Olivia Cooke) are a fledgling 2 piece metal band until Ruben wakes up and discovers he’s deaf. Great movie that feels more like a documentary than a movie thanks to the acting.

Part of my New Year’s Resolution is to catch up on my movie pile. First on the list: #Bugonia. A compelling movie thanks to its 2 leads (Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons). There are many twists and an ending only Yorgos Lanthimos can provide. I really liked it.

#Superman #33 by Joshua Williamson and Hayden Sherman. #DCKO tie-in: Luthor Vs Etrigan the Demon. Lex narrates the story giving the reader insights on how Lex is beyond good and evil concepts. Sherman brings dynamic page layouts. My favorite page was the final fight. Great story.
