#Cyclops # 1 by Alex Paknadel and Rogê Antônio. After putting to rest some ghosts of his past in Nebraska, Cyclops is shot down by new Reavers over the Northern Rockies in British Columbia. I really enjoyed Paknadel’s Sentinels and Cyclops setup feels similar. Give it a try.

RIP Tom Noonan, a friend for 18 years. Often typecast as villains, he was an actor's actor, a unique playwright & filmmaker, a gifted composer, and a pianist with a sweet voice. My kids & I used to go to his tiny apartment for dinner (pizza). We'd have a few drinks & he'd start to play. Magic.

#Venom #254 by Al Ewing and Carlos Gómez. This was an odd issue. It quickly resolved the Madame Masque vs Venom storyline it had been building and restored AIM back to status quo. I am sure this has to do with Masque being used in the new Iron Man & Venom setting up for an event.

#GIJoe #ARAH #325 by Larry Hama and Chris Mooneyham. Darklonia has started a war with neighboring country, Borovia. The Joes have been sent in to advise the Borovian soldiers. This self contained story shows 2 new Joes in action: RC (drone specialist) and Down Range (sniper).

#Transformers #29 by Robert Kirkman and Dan Mora. Megatron leads the Decepticons in an all out attack against the Autobot base. Megatron draws first blood (oil?) with the death of Trailbreaker. Will Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots survive this encounter?

#BleedingHearts #1 by Deniz Camp and Stipan Morian. Interesting premise: a zombie apocalypse happens but the zombies are sentient and able to communicate with each other. Poke, your average zombie suddenly grows a heart and has mixed feelings about eating the living. Fun start.

#DORC #1 by @brettbean.bsky.social. I wasn’t familiar with Brett Bean’s work and bought this comic because I liked the cover. D’Orc is a fun fantasy story about a half Dwarf/half Orc and the story doesn’t take itself too seriously. Great read and recommend if you can find one.
