just a man, trying to live the dream. I don't bend to bullies. I want to see everyone thrive in life.
in adult life shows how much you struggled with classroom cohesion in your early life. sometimes through no fault of our own, but same issues none the less. Classrooms have become more welcoming over the years because we have more supportive teachers.

We should discuss the 33-year lost conservative decade of sustainable wage growth in Alberta. Absolutely blew my fuckin mind to crunch these numbers #alberta #money #UCP #UCP #UCPFailure
in 1992, the minimum wage in Alberta was 4.25/hr, which was 680/month before tax. the average rent was 440. THAT MEANS YOU COULDNT LIVE BY YOURSELF ON MINIMUM WAGE EITHER. infact ITS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME 70% OF INCOME IF YOU MAKE MINIMUM WAGE!! LMAO it hasn't gotten worse, it's stayed the same.

school would be a company investment in a person after finding out they do well in entry positions. instead of stock buy backs, companies would spend all most all their left over capital to have the best labour force they can. short sightedness of bad business executives is leading worse outcomes

How did the idea of being a man become synonymous with being an asshole?

Do you know what women like in men?

a man that can cook.
a man that can clean.
a man who isn't going to make a scene over small things.
a man who is independent enough to know when he needs help.
a man that's an adult.

there is zero reason to have for-profit insurance. if insurance is a pot, then every dollar that goes in is meant to help those who help fill the pot. A government ran insurance is always cheaper than private.

You miss out on 155k when you buy a Ford F150, but hey atleast you can get groceries from Costco

if you rent is 1600/month you need to bring home 5300 after tax to afford it; afford to be 30% of take home. assuming 24% for overall tax liability, that's about 6150/month, which is roughly 73k a year.

in Alberta $15/hr will leave you 2400/month before tax, roughly 1970 after, which is 567/month
November 25, 2025 at 9:06 PM
little perspective for you. A F150 is about 60k for a base model. at 4% for 48 months, which is a healthy rate and term it would cost you 1400 a month roughly. You would need to make 17,500 a month TAKE HOME to ensure that loan was 8% of your budget. that's how insane these loans are.

large swathes of people don't leave cults. that's why stories of people escaping cults is so moving and powerful. Cults will bleed people slowly over time but the vasy majority seem to die holding onto those beliefs. this will be the problem moving forward with the MAGA cult.

son asked if we could build a pillow fort. asked Him what he could afford as monthly payments for that fort. Said dad isn't my love for that day enough of a payment? ha! I talked that sucker into 36 month hugs with a 32% rate reduction in eye rolling. I would have settled for a cookie. what a fool.

every company wants to be the most profitable but could care less about self sustainability and reputation. You can't let your arm rot and expect your torso to be fine.

it's funny how "Look how amazing our robot is" has just become well it dances really well. lmao except Germany, they would never do something as silly as freestyle dancing. Come on now.

Did you know it's healthy to tell all MAGA people they are piggies. 10/10 dentists recommend it.

if you hate the government printing money but take out debt for everything you buy; fuck you, you are 100% part of the problem.

social and political norms can hold us back from choosing what is actually moral in life. decorum is only useful when everyone is willing to live by it. the minute one party is unwilling too, you must adapt the way you engage with the decorum.

if the epstien files are a hoax, why would he need to investigate any names within in. That would either be admitting there is legit claims in them or that they are using hoaxs to attack political opponents. lmao

What's really scary is if the internet was to go down there is very little print media around to help disseminate information on a mass scale. it would absolute chaos if our sources of info ever went down for longer than a day.

Wild how the first ones to complain about the government nor having enough money are also the ones not properly paying their taxes.

companies will continue raising prices each quarter because user bases aren't growing and profits need to out pace last quarter.
