This looks great! Seriously, I think the next time I'm asked to do a charcuterie board, I am absolutely going to be making this!! I sort of suck at crescent dough, or fluff pastry, croissants, etc. This would hopefully be worth the effort!
I learned how to bake a Cornucopia made from Crescent Roll dough from a video. Turned out pretty cool. Was a hit at Thanksgiving!

I have got to do some painting. I have a bloody grocery bag of assembled and primed figures. I have a ton of goblins. But maybe I'll do a necromunda ganger. I wish I could have a poll, but oh well. Perhaps I'll work on the trolls, finish up my actual army list or goblin wolf-chariots.

So we ended up having friends over last night and had dinner. Sort of having time with friends when they are available. Since folks have obligations on Thursday. There were a total of 5 people, there was a lot of cleaning involved.

It's been weeks or months since I've painted something. I really need to work on my little gobbos. I feel like I've made progress posting food pics. But my miniatures and army progress has certainly been lagging lately. I have a ton of figures during the summer that I primed.

The GF bought ingredients for a pie and has communicated to me about a desire for pie. I have the goal of making a key-lime pie this week. The surprising thing is she bought Stroopwaffle crumb for the pie crust. We don't have any whipped cream, but I could make that. Not sure about toppings.

I just haven't had the spoons or mental energy to do any hobby or craft stuff for painting lately. I feel like my backlog is just growing. But I also feel, if I don't have 4-6 hours to invest and solidly focus on painting. I just can't do it. I feel like 30min at a time isn't sufficient.

I made pasta last night. It was.. quite simply an unmitigated disaster. The only thing with any redeeming value was the new sauce. But even then, it needs a little practice. At best, being charitable, it needs practice. At worst, my pasta was... Horrendous. A production, a chaotic mess.

I made a cake. Peanut butter, with peanut butter frosting and peanut butter ganache. I'm not a very good baker and cake decorating is not my forte. But it turned out delicious!

I did some assembly yesterday. It was a PITA. This I would have preferred to do as a sub-assembly. But it's too impractical. There is so much detail I won't be able to paint. There's a Stargrave game planned, this will be my apocalyptic crew.

I did some fried rice yesterday. I give it a barely passing grade. But tasted okay. This might require more science.

I just got gifted a Shitake mushroom kit! In addition to doing a ton of pickles. It looks like I'll be growing some mushrooms. In addition to the other fun culinary adventures currently in progress, I have a plethora of Gloomspite Gitz to glue together and prime and paint. So stay tuned!

Did a lot of water bath canning yesterday. Gonna do more today. I'm hopeful. But I am curious how it may impact the freshness and crunch.

Did a cooking experiment. What with the new fancy Oven, I'm still getting used to some of its features. One thing that is going to get a lot of use. Is the dehydration mode. These are stir fry strips marinated overnight in yoshidas. Never will I pay $15 for 2oz ever again.
