the fact that they're called "male chronophilias" really should give it away. the basic logic is: the great majority of sexual abusers AND the great majority of people who self-report sexual attraction to children are cis men = it must be a biological characteristic of "male" evolution.

Just saw her for the first time since yesterday morning. She is out of it and half her body is shaved but I am so relieved she’s alive!! They gave us back the stick. The part that fingers are bracketing is the part that was inside her! She’s little, only 20lbs. Incredible it missed everything vital.

Here’s her CT scan. The stick was so big compared to her 😭 it’s still all I can see in my mind’s eye. So so ready to go visit her this afternoon so I can see her stitched up and alive.

When I saw it I was instantly aware we could lose her at any moment.
She was so unlucky to have this happen to her, and so lucky to survive it! Had it gone in at any other place it might have been over. This has been so terrible and the money is a big stress but mostly I AM SO GLAD SHE IS ALIVE!!!
