After years on the road, I’m grateful to start today as a tenure-track researcher in Linguistics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. As a 1st generation PhD and foreign scholar in Italy, reaching this step - especially in Rome, a city I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid - feels really good.
