I'm a day late, I know, but here's our reading wrap for May. What have you been reading? 🧜🏾‍♀️

Every month, we assign each other a book that we've read and enjoyed. It's kinda like a book club, but not really. Ina assigned this book to me last month, but I couldn't read it then. Have any of you read this? 🧜🏾‍♀️

It only took me three months after moving into this place to set up my TBR cabinet. What should I read first? 🧜🏾‍♀️

Current read, trying to get back on track despite the state of the world. Happy Valentine's to all, but especially to your pets. Kiss their little foreheads on my behalf 💜🧜🏾‍♀️

Sorry for being MIA. The world is falling apart.

Anywho, starting our BHM a bit late, but to say I'm excited to devour this book would be the understatement of the decade 🧜🏾‍♀️

This is Martini, in case you hadn't been introduced to him yet 🧜🏾‍♀️

What are y'all currently reading? I'm sitting in a café waiting for Martini's surgery to end and listening to this. Pretty interesting so far. 🧜🏾‍♀️

I'm sure none of you will be surprised to see that each of us had a drastically different January, in terms of reading, from the other. What did you read in January?

Just finished this ARC. 3.75⭐️

Very eerie and creepy imagery which I really liked. I felt as if I was on a shroom trip throughout the whole book in the best way. The take on family dynamics was very fresh and I enjoyed it a lot.

Recommend for anyone who wants a quick horror read. - 🦋

This was such a hard list to come up with since I primarily read high fantasy in terms of fiction, but here are some great books that tackle important themes given the current socio-political climate. Have you read any of them? 🧜🏾‍♀️

Starting this bad boy right now. I've been making a concerted effort to distance myself from doomscrolling, so I've started to teach myself embroidery. I'm the least crafty person ever, but it's been surprisingly relaxing. Raise your hand if you also multi-task when reading audiobooks 🤚🏾🧜🏾‍♀️

Finished reading this beauty. Took me longer than expected, not because it was slow or anything like that, but because the current state of the world made this story hurt just a little more.

How's everyone surviving the week? Hang in there. This, too, shall pass 🫶🏾🧜🏾‍♀️

Oh my, I've got soooo many. I personally think more people should read non-fiction so they can understand the world around them. I absolutely love fiction, but I feel that reading non-fiction quite literally opened my eyes. Here's a few of my must-reads:
