i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”
basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.
i feel that with my dad.

Good morning everyone. One of the things that brings me joy is getting things to run on devices that weren't necessarily designed "right out of the box" so to speak. I know its a Steam Deck and its a PC basically but getting the PC version of Simpsons Hit and Run working was fun and it plays great.

Husband is watching the last 20 minutes of a film because he's only rented it till midnight. Typically for him it's a cheerful tale about Japan in 1946, black and white, subtitles, about a woman with radiation sickness driven to prostitution to survive.
