I stayed up till 3:30 am last night working on grants to find out I wouldn't be paid for my time and effort. It's quite disappointing when you gave up other work to earn slightly extra money and finding out you're not getting paid. Losing money/income is no fun as a freelance gig & on-call worker.

Transformation is a choice until something happens and you have no other choice but to transform. Throughout life, there will be opportunities for transformation and growth. Learn from your mistakes, rewire your brain, be present in the moment, and honour your truth.

They tried to erdicate Deaf and Disabled people. But they forgot that they, themselves can become Deaf and/or Disabled later in life. They forgot that they can breed Deaf and Disabled children. Deaf and Disabled people will always exist, no matter how much they want to push us out of existence.

Take care of your health. Lean on your community. Wear closed toe shoes.
Trust the universe.
Breathe.

Love isn't just reserved for one person or a few people in your life.

Love can be for everyone and anyone.

Love is caring for others. Love is valuing people's lives.

Love your people. Love your community.

We often forget to come from a place of love. Its easy to forget in a world full of hate.

If you're an addict, I still love you. If you're chronically ill, I still love you. If you are queer and/or trans, I still love you. If you are disabled, I still love you. If you are struggling, I still love you.

Even if I don't know you, I still love you.

Love can be easy. Love is unconditional.

So happy to be back to work after being chronically ill for a month. I missed everyone! ✨

Being sensitive and deeply empathetic is not a sign of weakness nor a curse. It's a sign of strength to feel so much and it helps you to understand others better.

Feel your feelings. Empathize with others.

We are interconnected. Recognize your feelings and use that as a tool in creation.
