For anyone curious, Valve completely ignored this, so yes this really is how they treat their customers.

Probably a good choice! The monopolization and capitalization of businesses that are reliant on the cosmetic use of water (in a desert that’s under constant drought) is probably one of the more commercially dystopian things I’ve watched living here for the last 10 years.

Or yet another “$3 Carwash!” that suddenly turns into a “3 minute carwash” that costs $15 once the parent organization has purchased all the smaller carwashes in the area…
