disorder, human suffering, people not knowing the fate of their loved ones, relatives, and friends. Silence — informational and literal — broken only by air raid sirens, and videos of terrorists shooting, torturing, killing, raping, capturing hostages.

Nevertheless, עם ישראל חי

I’m glad they are finally back. It’s a tragedy that it took so long, and that many more didn’t make it — either on the day of the attack or later.

I still remember every bit of it clearly. All of it, raw uncensored field evidence. The feeling that in several hours some group may reach your home,

Idk about ‘subscribtions’ (whatever this is), but Apple Podcasts in general are RSS-based, aren’t they?

The idea of such an app is pure, concentrated antagonism toward technology, progress, humanity, society, and life itself. Yet, in just a couple of days, two independent parties released fucking two apps. That’s already two more than anyone would ever need.

Joan is right: the product matters. Without a strong product, you’re doomed to swim in the shallow waters of fake networking.

However, trying to perfect your product in isolation has no less dangers and can lead you into an abyss of no man’s land with no real feedback except your own delusions.

So networking matters, but not the kind promoted by many tech people, self-help coaches, and LinkedIn ‘influencers’.

You just have to write (or build products, or whatever) AND talk to people. Not with the goal of building a network but for the sake of discussion and collaboration

Doing %some work% without communicating with others can hone your skills. At the same time, it won’t have any impact on the world until there’s someone who uses it one way or another.

There’s always a chance they’ll discover it by accident. Can you rely on that, though? I’d say you can’t.

The true conflict here, as I see it, is fake networking vs establishing meaningful connections with readers, opponents, collaborators.

Hustling just to spread a word about yourself sounds easier and promising, but building mutual interest and trust is more sustainable and valuable in the long run

the overall quality of Apple software releases has dropped way too far below the waterline
