I think Spurs are physically superior to most European teams, and will ultimately win at a relative canter tonight #COYS

Spurs' problem (well, amongst many) is that we always looks like we're fiddling whilst Rome burns, but getting in a proper, experienced head who probably still gets into our first XI is a #goodthing. We *obviously* still need a ball-playing 6 and a starting winger.

[Squawka] Tottenham are the only side not to concede at home in the Champions League this season. Four games, four wins and four clean sheets.

4th in the Supermassive Champions League table is absolutely mental hahahaha, we are so back. UP THE FUCKING SPURRRRSSSSS!

It's to the very detriment of football as the sport we know and love but thank God for Uefa refs and VAR

I don't think it's objectively the wrong decision to bring Solanke back in (he's our best attacker) but it's just the story of TF that even his correct calls bring catastrophically bad vibes
🚨⚠️ Tottenham manager Thomas Frank excludes again Mathys Tel from Champions League squad list. Frank makes space for Dominic Solanke and the only way was to remove Tel. ❗️ The French striker and his camp, not happy at all with the decision.

I hope I'm articulating this well enough, but RVN being *left-handed* is jarring because 1) he was an incredibly right-footed player, and 2) left-handedness/footedness denotes an elegance that a man of his size simply doesn't have. Am I mental @footballcliches.bsky.social
🚨🇳🇱 Ruud van Nistelrooij signed his contract to be part of the Dutch national team's coaching staff from February 1. The former striker will join Ronald Koeman as an assistant coach in preparation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Reflective of the deep lack of understanding and ambition of our Senior Management that it's taken an injury to spark them into action. WE ALREADY HAD THE WORST MIDFIELD IN THE LEAGUE YOU IDLE COWARDS. #THFC
🚨⚠️ Rodrigo Bentancur will be out for three months as he needs surgery, back before the end of the season. Tottenham now to explore midfielders market in January.

I know it's deeply unimaginative to be Poch In, but we're a deeply-unimaginative Club. Let's at least indulge the people that pay for this tripe.

We're still a diabolically-coached team but our intensity alone has unsettled Villa. More of this please, Tottenham.
January 10, 2026 at 7:08 PM
Important to remember that our last great team still existed at the same time as a famously unambitious board - Peter Charrington isn't the reason we are the least imaginative or effective team in the league in open play. #THFC

It's so difficult to get behind anything this team do, because it's so lacking in imagination, guile, or courage in every aspect.
January 10, 2026 at 6:22 PM
Oh Arch, completely lost his man, but it was also a very well-worked move.
January 10, 2026 at 6:12 PM
Ben Davies leading the press and the off-ball runs, not a great sign that our best player is doing it out of muscle memory
January 10, 2026 at 6:11 PM
I am sympathetic to the fact that our midfield options are pretty limited, and Saturday is arguably the game to win - but playing Bentinha against the best and most aggressive press in the PL is just .... So, so stupid, and so cowardly.

It's a cruel irony that there's an unprecedented amount of live football at the exact time when Spurs are at their most unwatchable.

Asking respectfully if we put a buyback clause in the Troy Parrott deal

It's one of the lesser-discussed drawbacks of this insanely-congested football calendar that a goal like Micky VDV's should feel like something we can luxuriate in for days and weeks to come, not shunted out of focus by the relentless churn of Very Important Games Happening All The Time.
November 5, 2025 at 8:57 AM
Well then.
I'm not sure any of the component parts of that team fit together well at all. Hunkering down for 90 minutes of Unwatchable Stodge with possibly a Very Valuable Point at the end of it. COYS.

Ange Postecoglou spends more energy, time and resources on the defence of his reputation than he does on the defence of his Actual Football Team.
October 17, 2025 at 2:38 PM
The very nature of football fandom is that we're never *truly* fulfilled, as the relentless churn of fixtures means we're only ever 3 days away from having our perspective violently altered, fleeting joy snatched away, and it's hard to stay completely present with something that's ...

If Man United had been brave enough to sack Erik ten Hag after an apocalyptically-bad first 2 games in the league, they wouldn't have been able to ruin Ruben Amorim's life by hiring him as he wouldn't have been born yet.

What's meant for you won't pass you by
Tottenham have completed the signing of Xavi Simons.

He will help replace the gap left by Son Heung-min in terms of marketability at Tottenham — but will provide much more value on the pitch.
