I talk about Orlando City/Pride ⚽️, and get baited by political discussion.
Ok everyone calm down

I think it’s the rape

I think instead you should just shadow ban male votes. This way we think we're voting but actually aren't. This way we can't make ourselves the victim, because we love that.

lol that would be a disaster

Oh come on, we both know he doesn’t watch lol.

I don’t really care what your club needs, just correcting your inaccurate characterization of Nancy.

You haven’t even looked at his career, he has been a head coach for four years in MLS. From assistant he took over when Henry left Montreal. Then he got bought by Columbus and won championships. He’s on an upward trajectory and is just at the beginning of his career.

As someone who has worked a job before, I'm pretty sure attacking a group of disgruntled workers hanging on by a thread is not a good management strategy.

He's a good coach. There's a lot of parity in MLS so it's hard to win consistently. This was a down year for him because he lost his two best attackers before the season, but his teams have played attractive attacking football with academy kids and strict roster budgets. I think he'd do well there.

They were chosen to take the fall because none are up for re-election soon. It's all a design and falls at Schumer's rat hands

You’re right. I regret using that word, I didn’t intend to pass judgement, just wanted to convey that there’s still plenty to fight for here. I recognize that’s a statement with some privilege built into it.

I wish you luck, sincerely. At the very least, it's always good to have a plan.

I agree. Lots of folks still haven't really woken up to what's going on or literally don't even know what is coming their way. Both sides are bracing for it and trying to strategize how to direct that inevitable anger. The establishment Dems haven't cared about the working class for decades.
November 9, 2025 at 11:17 PM
That's entirely understandable, I'm obviously in no position to judge your decisions, I'm more speaking in generalities. We all have a reality to contend with and some are in more comfortable situations than others. That's why I think the folks that can AFFORD to fight, should.

There's a lot of work to be done to fix our politics. We have to be unwavering in our demand for candidates that want to reform/fix campaign finance and get corporate hands out of the equation. It's going to take more than a couple election cycles to fix, unfortunately.

The more successful this fascist movement in the US is, the more it will propagate to the rest of the world. The issue isn't voting, it's WHO we get to vote for, so focus your energy towards the candidates you think are best, but don't surrender your vote out of spite.
