I do so wish that all the words spoken in this (brilliant) sketch weren't so damned true and that, to some extent, we weren't all to blame.

I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.

My brother used to say he loved St. Stephen's Day because it's the longest possible period of time before next Christmas Day. I love the morning after Halloween for the same reason. #Halloween

Pinned tweets should have a time limit. People leave them up for years. They're usually too long and boastful. Off putting. If I haven't read your book by now I probably won't ever. #pinned

Michael McDowell has a piece in today's Irish Times about Ronan McCrea's new book about LGBT+ rights. Basically, it's an attack on trans. McDowell and McCrea think trans rights activism is making people who are in the centre become less liberal. It's so wrong headed I don't know where to start.

Why do people write prologues and introductions and forewords? If its important put it in the book. I read them after I've read the books and they always seem totally unnecessary. Just get on with the story/subject.
