They are fortunate to be trailing by a touchdown at halftime. It's very disappointing. I don't know if I'd boo the team as they are headed to the locker room. They have seemed somnambulant at times.

I rode up in an elevator with Freddie Mitchell (clutching his playbook?) and another Philadelphia Eagle at the Airport Marriott on the Saturday before the Vikings' playoff game. Someone had a neat-looking Bentley parked in the Marriott's garage and two fellas where keeping an eye on that.

I can imagine. We'd dodged The Missiles of October just 13 months prior. My parents and my maternal aunt went to Washington for President Kennedy's funeral procession. I remember being out of school a full week.
