Care about the world, looking after humans, follow authors and creatives, here to learn and explore, cuteness is lovely too
Why does everything have to be named as u turns when in truth all governments should listen and adapt to the changing views, needs and requirements of it's people. Manifestos and plans are just living documents that should not remain static when positive improvements can be made.

Having no heating this week has reminded me of Ireland in the 80's during the miners strike when we would take turns to warm up by the fire, trying to stay warm but not start to burn your socks. No central heating back then or double glazing. Difficult times for my parents but as kids it was ok.

Minneapolis is out in the streets to show the disgust and the rage its citizens feel against ICE. Police joined protesters to make a maximum of noise outside the hotel where the ICEstapo is housed.

Anyone watched Outrageous on BBC iPlayer. The Mitford sisters, a wild ride and seems so much of history repeating itself.. it's scary. But brilliantly acted

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Those stupidly annoying On The Beach adverts have started up again. I hate them. Why would an arrogant, entitled family encourage you to buy their product. I tend to mute adverts anyway but I do it super quick when this one comes on.

Never known or forgotten
Almost frozen in time

Like the grand rivers of old
We glide into another new year

To try to move forward
Learn from our past mistakes

But the world is stuck
In an endless loop of hate

We can all make a positive change
And try to jump start life again

2025. The gift that keeps on giving. Woke up this morning and the boiler isn't working. Tried everything suggested in the manual but no joy. On standby for someone to come out today, otherwise it will be Friday. This year can just bugger off please. Can we have calm, normal, no dramas in 2026 please

“Trump doesn't have any policies, he has whims. It scares the shit out of me.

The ignorance, the hubris, the lies, the perfidy.

Trump knows better … he's making money … while the world goes to hell…

It's unbelievable. I don't know of a greater criminal in history"
