It is excellent. An important part of that educational video is it includes the ME International Consensus Primer.

ME used to be G93.3 and CFS was R53.82.

ME advocates fought it being lumped together but CDC overrode it & created G93.32.

EPIC, one of the largest health record companies, expanded G93.32 to include even more conditions.

So G93.32 was a step backwards.

May 12, 2024 is awareness day for Complex Immunological & Neurological Diseases (CIND) which includes #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis.

"We mark this date remembering those who have advocated for myalgic encephalomyelitis and other marginalized diseases."

I prefer myalgic encephalomyelitis because my experience matches the name & my symptoms match the ICC criteria for ME.

This isn't the experience for everyone who fits the SEID (aka me/cfs) criteria.

It is important for research that we accurately stratify patients.
