Thousands of people showed up in ABQ today to fight against fascism. There were some many great speakers but the highlight of the event for me was chanting "Sí se puede" alongside Dolores Huerta.

I'll be heading up to Santa Fe today to advocate for science and diversity!

Late posting over the break I went out to the Channel Islands and spotted the Island Scrub-Jay! 🪶

I have a double helix on my forearm! I got this before I ended up doing genomics research. Fun fact, the tattoo came before the surgical scar. My surgeon did a good job keeping the tattoo looking good.

#AOS24 is a wrap! I had a wonderful time in Estes Park. It was so nice to see so many cool people and hear some awesome talks. Plus, the wildlife spotting was amazing!
