This would be a good impetus for Canada to look at joining the European single market. Non-EU countries Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein are all members; Canada has long been too dependent on the US market, and should look to join them

This is an echo of the general election. The trans Democrat is blamed for "sparking" the crisis despite the fact she did nothing beyond be herself.
