> Dear passengers, why we're standing here, I can't tell you either.."

Can't have a succulent German Bahnfahrt without this happening.

Making 3D presentations inside of #resonite sounds like an interesting idea..

Seeing open source and privacy companies having Discord as there support channel feels like a vegan community meeting at a steak house for events.

Props to the engineer who is implementing #webgpu support for mesh shaders by himself including the DirectX, Vulkan, and Metal backends.

Currently at 20000+ added lines of code over 9 months if I counted correctly.

My takeaway from math lectures is that the didactic competence is antiproportional to their competence in mathematics. The more they know about mathematics, the more "obvious" steps they skip over when teaching and the more they prefer inner monologue over talking towards the audience. So far […]

Yes, but you see, if my life revolves around us-east-1 and it goes down, then my day will be incredibly uneventful as I cannot do anything other than wait. HOWEVER if I self host […]

The #fairphone 6 is so thicc that it doesn't fit into my car phone holder. Now I need to look for a replacement.

I didn't know you could install a custom TTS software on Android. Since EOS only ships with the equivalent of the robotic MS Sam voice, I've replaced it with SherpaTTS, which can fetch voice models from Huggingface. And installed the Glados model :3

The most headache-inducing bugs in my #webassembly plugin for #resonite have been fixed. It's working so well that I decided to make a video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-NQ2PgGRYw
I've added a text-based module asset which lets you write assembly code directly in the game and see it run.

After the splittening, pretty much the only complaint I hear from people about #resonite is the bad IK. Rightfully so. But I think this is a good sign, because almost nobody is complaining about bad performance any more.

I was a bit late to the #resonite block party, but it was nice to see people. Also got to try out blood on the clock tower for the first time, but I think I'll need to try it again at some point since that round was pure chaos :blobcatsweats:
Makes me want to build my own deduction game in […]

I've implemented a #protoflux JIT compiler which dynamically generates ProtoFlux node classes to wrap #webassembly export functions. I had a Java moment and made the compiler very object-oriented, which let me abstract it so much that it can be used both for […]

October 3, 2025 at 10:06 AM
I just released a working prototype of my #webassembly for #resonite plugin. The ProtoFlux nodes for calling WASM functions are entirely JIT-compiled by the plugin, both for efficiency and to work around design limitations of the ProtoFlux VM […]

I found this gem on YouTube and I think others here will also enjoy it. I'm too young to have heard of Hitchens before, but I wish I did.

Update on my #webassembly #resonite plugin. I can instantiate modules now and inspect their function exports. It's also possible to modify the function signature because an "externref" maps to "object" by default, which is not very neat.

The next step will be […]

Small steps. I can currently only import and load modules and will need to figure out how to model calling exported functions in ProtoFlux.
